On glass substrates we produced a Nb80Zr20 alloy with the aim of studying the electrochemical behavior of this new material and to compare its behvior to that obtained with pure Nb and Zr.The electrochemical characterization shows that this alloy behaves as a valve metal with good corrosion resistance properties, similar to those of Nb.
