This special issue features five contributions, two of which are co-authored, giving equal importance to the technical and the theoretical work behind the making of digital projects. The intersections between technical and theoretical work is a concrete outcome of the blending of theory and praxis in the field of digital humanities. The practicality of working with digital tools is magnified through an analysis of the collaborative processes that stem from a transformed and ubiquitous digital landscape. Even though these articles are part of a larger and ongoing multidisciplinary and multimedia scholarly project, the contributions offer a stand-alone example of the reach of interdisciplinary encounters.

Abstract
This special issue features five contributions, two of which are co-authored, giving equal importance to the technical and the theoretical work behind the making of digital projects. The intersections between technical and theoretical work is a concrete outcome of the blending of theory and praxis in the field of digital humanities. The practicality of working with digital tools is magnified through an analysis of the collaborative processes that stem from a transformed and ubiquitous digital landscape. Even though these articles are part of a larger and ongoing multidisciplinary and multimedia scholarly project, the contributions offer a stand-alone example of the reach of interdisciplinary encounters.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
