PEACH (Personal Experience with Active Cultural Heritage) is a substantial project funded by the Autonomous Province of Trento with the objective of studying and experimenting with various advanced technologies that can enhance cultural heritage appreciation. The project is mainly based on IRST research, with important contributions by DFKI, Saarbruecken, partner in this enterprise. The research activity focuses on two technology mainstreams, namely, natural interactivity (encompassing natural language processing, perception, image understanding, intelligent systems, etc.) and microsensory systems. This project follows the interest we have had for a long time for the development of intelligent interfaces in the context of cultural heritage. Some of the concepts of peach have originated with the IRST contribution to the development of the European project HIPS, where we focused on techniques for producing a coherent language-based information presentation that would take into substantial consideration what the user had seen in the visit and his actual position and attitude. In PEACH we further develop the techniques and deal with dynamic multimodal mobile presentations

Abstract
In PEACH we further develop the techniques and deal with dynamic multimodal mobile presentationsI documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
