We present a multi-modal architecture providing the addition of voice recognition capability in a Web based Oncological Electronic Medical Record (EMR). By using this system a user can interact with the EMR to browse its pages and manage patients’ data and information using different modalities: namely traditional input devices and voice interaction. A summative evaluation of the system has been in progress in a clinical setting in order to assess the effectiveness of this approach. Results will be available by the time of the congress
