Abstract
The forthcoming evolution of the World Wide Web towards the Semantic Web will add new technologies to the already available ones, with the aim of giving wider automatic processing to web-stored information (1). Technologies include XML (2) for interoperability, RDF (3) for semantic markup, and higher-abstraction reasoning applications (1). Among the possible applications of such evolution, we identified also the markup of telemedicine data in a field currently lacking of any standard, i.e., telepathology; we modeled data and developed a couple of software applications to demonstrate the feasibility of the approachFile in questo prodotto:
