Abstract
Integrated signal processors and images sensors have been implemented for vision applications using a variety of technologies including CCD, CCD/CMOS and CMOS. In most of them the emphasis was limited to tasks where black and white images and small-medium resolution are required. However, for imaging sensing applications which require high sensitivity and resolution, CCDs are the dominant technology. The imlementation described here uses a CD/CMOS process technology that combines the advantages of the charge-domain sensing and computing elements with the flexibility of the CNOS circuitry. A single chip digital imager has been implemented that integrates sensing elements, A/D conversion and CCD driving capability to reduce complexity and cost with respect to standard imaging systemsI documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
